Kara
Thirtysomething, Food-Lover, Creative Mind, Traveller and 1 of more than 463 million people living with Diabetes. I got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2011. My home is the Palatinate in Germany and I work as a Virtual Assistant. After hating the subject in school I am now a big fan of the English language. I prefer to read books in English or watch movies and shows in their original version.
Sweets, Pen and Needle is my way of expressing myself and connecting to like-minded foodies, creatives and most of all the wonderful diabetes community.

Art has been one of my favorite pastimes since I was a little child. When I sketch, draw or paint I often forget about stress and can fully relax. Let’s take a glance at some of my Art.
